The CRC was formed in 1985 to promote membership and protect the general public against unscrupulous roofing contractors. Since then the Confederation has expanded to become an elite organisation specialising in the provision of roofing services to all market sectors.

Our members are totally committed to providing all clients with a quality driven service, which reflects good craft skills, working practices and reasonable fees. High quality standards should be pursued in all aspects of business practice. These are enshrined within the general rules of membership and specifically the recommended Codes of Conduct.

We recommend that the general public obtain three quotations prior to accepting works, if in doubt please telephone our office and we will go through each quotation with you in order to secure the most cost effective quote. Never accept a verbal quotation from door-knockers.

Our site is made easy for use by the general public.  To find a member in your area please go to 'Find a member'  and click on 'Member Search' and then click on your area of the map. A list of members will appear and you can then click for more at the bottom of the page 'ie: '.  If you have any difficulty finding a member in your area please contact Mike Wolfe on 01206 306600 and he will be pleased to assist you.

    To all Roofing Contractors
It is a well-known fact that both the general public and local authorities prefer to use a roofing contractor who belongs to a recognised trade association.

In the current climate where work is getting harder to find, belonging to a recognised trade association has many benefits, one of which is work passed on to members from the many enquiries we receive each day.  Our website gets over 11000 hits per week and from that we receive over 20 enquiries per day from members of the public requesting reputable roofing contractors.  Each of these enquiries is passed onto our members in the areas requested and they can be confident of securing that particular contract.

Members of the Confederation of Roofing Contractors can also register with our insurance company and offer their clients the benefit of 10 year back up warranty which protects the customer in the event of you ceasing to trade during the guarantee period which in turn gives the customer peace of mind knowing that should a defect arise during the guarantee period and the roofing contractor has ceased trading for any reasons they are fully covered.

Presentation of a quotation is all important, first impressions are important to the customer, members of the Confederation of Roofing Contractors are able to produce their quotations in a glossy folder that includes our symbol of reliablity sheet along with a code of practice booklet, this along with your quality quotation will go along way to secure the work.

If you feel that your company would be an asset to the CORC, go to our membership applications page and submit an application form via e-mail or contact Mike Wolfe on 01206 306600.

We do not believe that membership fees of a trade association should depend on either turnover or wage structure. The annual membership is the same for large or small companies and is currently set at £320:00 + V.A.T.
