GGI was established in 2018 in Ramsbottom, Bury, the heart of the communities we serve. We started as a specialist insulation contractor and quickly recognised that the households who needed help the most were being let down by fragmented supply chains, unreliable trades, and a grants landscape nobody could navigate.
We rebuilt from the ground up around PAS 2035 before it became mandatory, because we believed doing things right once was better than firefighting afterwards. That discipline is now baked into every project we take on.
Today, GGI coordinates whole-house retrofits across Greater Manchester and the wider Northwest, working with social housing providers, local authorities, and private homeowners. Our team of directly-employed retrofit coordinators, surveyors, and trades means we control quality at every step.
