Modern Roofing (Scotland) Ltd was formed in Lanarkshire, Scotland in 2007. Since then, the company has grown from a small flat roofing contractor into an established commercial and industrial roofing business capable of delivering roof refurbishment, repair, maintenance and modernisation projects across Scotland.
Our background in single-ply membranes has developed into a wider range of modern roofing systems, including Sika single-ply roofing, liquid applied waterproofing, metal sheeting, overcladding, gutter refurbishment, electronic roof integrity testing and leak detection.
A large part of our work now involves the repair, refurbishment and maintenance of roofs on factories, warehouses, commercial buildings, industrial properties and public-sector premises. Many of these projects are carried out on occupied buildings, allowing clients to continue operating while essential roofing works are completed safely and professionally above.
The continued hands-on involvement of business owner Gordon Speirs, alongside long-serving contracts manager Tony Martin, helps ensure that Modern Roofing remains practical, accountable and focused on quality. This day-to-day involvement means clients deal with an experienced team that understands the demands of live commercial and industrial sites.
